UK Mains Lead: An IEC-320 type
C7 moulded figure-of-8 connector on 2m of 2-core
cable with a moulded 13A UK mains plug. Typically
used on laptops, cassette players, radios, etc.
This lead is rated at 250Vac, 2.5A and the 13A
plug carries a 3A fuse.
The
Euro Convertor plug (ECP) is
an adaptor which converts 2.5A CEE7 (XVI) Europlugs
to the BSI363 system format. With its hinged
lid, secured with a screw, external fuse access
and no loose parts, it is ideal for manufacturers
who want to produce one version of their product
and then convert certain models for the UK market.
